    KHALIFAH YOUTH TRAINING (KYT 13)

What we did during the last semester break? Is filled with meaningful activities or simply filled with eating and sleeping. Oopsǃǃǃ sorry if anyone feels? Hmm but, I’m think MICET’s students do not likes waste the time right.

Okay, on this occasion I would like to share with all my friends what I have done in the last semester break. On 25 and 26 December 2010, I had to join a program of Khalifah Youth Training at Khalifah institute.

Before this, have you heard about the Khalifah Institute? I think many of you do not know, never heard and do not know where is located. Here, I will share what is the Khalifah Institute and what I do there. Majority people who understand that the Khalifah was a missionary to carry out works. actually it is not exactly understanding. Khalifah means that
being responsible for maintaining and carrying out the trust of Allah on earth.

Khalifah Project which was founded by the late Prof. Al'Mahdi Muhammad is one of the steps towards creating a progressive society. This project aims to offer the Malaysian public a way to improve youth personal development effectively and productively.

                  What is Khalifah Youth Training?
The Khalifah Institute, which is the prime mover of the project Khalifah, and hold a special session of intensive training called “Khalifah Youth Training”. This program trains participants comprising students of IPTA/IPTS how to realize that there is excellent potential in them as well as equip them with knowledge to fend off the negative influence to empower young people as leaders and movers of society and the country in the near future. This program was held to threeteen times and so far, training has been conducted has produced some of IPT students who emerged as a speaker and facilitator at the Khalifah Institute.

I was very impressed with the objectives of this program are:
1. Motivate students to achieve excellence in knowledge, manners and spirit.
2. Recognize them and tap the existing potential in each student.
3. Build resilience through the application of laws of learning.
4. Empower students to become human himself excellent by Khalifah Method.

Khalifah method: an effective way to educate children excel

Three easy steps Khalifah Method

Here are three things you should do on a consistent and continuing every day, to ensure that your child becomes the Caliph of Allah an excellent - where they love all the servants of God, and shun all His prohibitions:

Step 1: Planting the children themselves want to be the Caliph of Allah is true. Do it in a way that may cause feelings in their hearts that this is a great honor and responsibility of fun. Explain to your children the three responsibilities of the Caliph of Allah:

1) Make yourself better
2) Help others to be good

3) Make the environment clean, beautiful and peaceful

At least five times a day, in a positive way and vary remind your child that he was a Caliph of Allah.

Step 2: Strengthen the rewards good behavior. Make at least several times a day, with a different way, to give rewards in the form of words of appreciation, affection and attention for the good things kids do or do bad things they leave behind.

Step 3: Set clear rules so that children know and understand what they can do and what they need to stay away. Apply the rules with a firm but soft, ie without roughness and scorn.

The steps above may seem too simple compared to the goals to be achieved, but every parent who tried to correct and istiqamah can see the children. Children are more easily managed and the importance of their own this method will choose to do what God asked and leave what God has forbidden.
